Woodworker looking for light and dark wood

Woodworking is my hobby. Looking for some hardwoods. Prefer dark mahogany but all hardwood is considered. Not much of a selection at Menards so I figured I would see what's available. Looking to start my next project by Dec 2nd or Dec 3rd. Been pretty busy at work lately so I cannot start before then but would like to have something by that weekend.
