Position Available: Emergency Mitigation Technician/Laborer Prime Restoration and Remediation (located in Woonsocket, RI) is currently seeking motivated people to join our team. We specialize in 24/7 residential and commercial cleanups including water extraction, drying and dehumidification; fire and smoke damage restoration; mold and mildew mitigation services; and storm response services for losses in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Technicians are key representatives of PRIME Restoration and must always conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner. Primary Duties • Setting up equipment and monitoring drying systems • Removal of damaged flooring or drywall • Keeping the trucks clean and well organized • Perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control • Providing updates to your direct supervisor daily • Must maintain a safe work record and identify potentially unsafe working scenarios or conditions • Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers • Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly Position Requirements • Effective written and oral communication • Clean criminal background • Pass a drug test • Own transportation • Valid Driver’s License / Clean MVR • Experience in cleaning/restoration is preferred • High school diploma/GED • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics) • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals • Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary • Position requires availability 24/7 including on-call rotation. • Must have a neat appearance
