The Great RestorationYou are invited to join Brownstone Institute scholars, journalists, and supporters in Miami, Florida, at the spectacular Mandarin Oriental, for an ocean-view afternoon conference and gala dinner, Saturday, December 3, 2022, 1:00pm, with a 6:00pm reception followed by dinner. The main focus is on the ongoing crisis, which has mutated from one involving infectious disease to one that profoundly impacts the future of civilization itself. Our dinner speaker is Dr. Joseph Ladapo, Surgeon General for Florida who has been an extraordinary leader during the pandemic, protecting the rights and freedoms of Floridians against the pandemic hegemon. He will be joined by Brownstone Senior Scholars and writers for panels and sessions during the afternoon. Brownstone Institute celebrates its second year, leading the way with research, commentary, and influence in post-pandemic times of grave crisis at all levels of society: cultural, educational, economics, law, and public health. The after effects of lockdowns and vaccine mandates have deeply scarred the reality and cause of freedom. The pandemic is over but not the state of emergency. We now face censorship and digital tracking, labor upheaval and inflation, cultural demoralization and war, continued travel restrictions, and a dramatic destabilization of the relationship between citizens and the state, not only in the US, but all over the world. This is a turning point in history. What happens next depends on what we believe and what we will accept. Will current trends yield a great reset or a turn to freedom? Will there be a great restoration or further decline? The answer depends on both political and intellectual leadership and public opinion. No one can afford to stand aside in this great battle for the future.
