Workforce Southwest Washington is looking to fund several organizations for the delivery of services to out-of-school youth ages 16-24 . We are looking to identify consortiums capable of offering integrated services focused on providing holistic support and training to prepare out-of-school youth for post-secondary and career success. Organizations who serve the following priority populations should especially attend: Individuals experiencing mental health issues, Past or current justice-involvement, Unhoused individuals, LGBTQIA+, Low income youth, Single or expecting parents, Communities of color, English Language Learners, Youth in or aged out of foster care, Veterans or eligible spouses, Displaced homemakers, Post-secondary education such as any community colleges, or Individuals with disabilities. Geographic Area: Clark, Cowlitz Wahkiakum Counties (additional event on January 11th; organizations interested in serving all 3 counties are encouraged to attend both) Grant Amount: A total of $1,068,530.00 funds are anticipated to be available for year one of the program. These funds will be divided among all three counties Contract Term: July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024 (contract extensions available for 2 more years) At this event, we will answer all questions about the funding opportunity, and then follow up with some networking time for all attendees to consider how their organizations might work together to serve out-of-school-youth.
