Description
I have a 4 yr old beautiful Great Pyrenees that I’m forced to rehome. He’s a wonderful dog, a fantastic companion. He gets along children and with cats and other dogs very well but for new dogs around him just introduce in a neutral area on a leash for first meeting.
He’s great with small and older children.
He doesn’t ever jump up on you when he’s excited. He loves to go on car rides most of the time/ example- first time we took him out in the car he was a nervous wreck but I think it’s because his people just left him. As long as you reassure him that he’s yours and not going anywhere he will stop his heavy panting lol..he always goes in our trunk area
He is very well house trained, does not need a crate! he walks great on a leash, he doesn’t come and beg for your food. He is a great watchdog- he keeps the coyotes away, chases off possums and raccoons. He’s got great hearing, he knows when someone has just turned into the drive and the house is quite a distance away. So he’s an awesome lookout I just don’t know that he would actually hurt or go after the perpetrator lol He is neutered, but he does need to get rabies shot brought up to date at end of January. Overall he’s a great dog and it’s heartbreaking to have to do this. Have to rehome per the landlords orders asap.
He does have a rehoming fee to be on the careful side and I’d love to get him into the best home possible. Fee is $200 and when they settle down,
