Hi Ladies!  Blue Lobster Urban Winery has once again graciously invited PWSC to use their space for our December meetup! They will have wine and small bites available for purchase. The meetup will be held from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Friday, December 16th. Please RSVP - there will be 30 tickets available for this event! We are also so excited to share that, in the spirit of the giving season and #community, our December event will be a donation based kit-making extravaganza for local organization Maine Needs! For those who are unfamiliar with this organization, Maine Needs is a grassroots organization that looks to help domestic abuse survivors, asylum seekers, and those facing financial hardships across the state of Maine.  At our meetup we will be making “Minute for Mom” kits, which we hope will brighten the spirits of women in our community during the holiday season.  We will purchase the kit items ahead of time for the group to assemble together at Blue Lobster Urban Winery If you would like to contribute financially to the kits, please Venmo Pam (@pamela-costello). The last four digits of her phone number are 6358, which Venmo may request. Note, you do not have to attend the event to donate, and you do not have to donate to attend the event! If you would prefer to donate items to put in the kits, please let Kristine (@portlandwomenssocialcircle) or Pam (@pamdagram) know so we can account for those items in our total.  We thought it would only be fitting for this community of wonderful women to support women in our community and hope you are just as excited as we are!
