We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday and is ready to close out 2022 strong! Recapping our November 15th Meetup, we were back at Venture X Co-working space in One Loudoun. Our featured speaker, Aliscia Andrews, Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security for the Commonwealth of Virginia, recapped her extensive travels and visits throughout the Commonwealth as she helps Virginia’s local governments increase their cyber-preparedness and position themselves to apply for federal grant money.
We also heard from Cribl, who was our hospitality sponsor. They provided beverages and a delicious spread of barbeque and all the fixin’s from local favorite Carolina Brothers.
Save The Date: Our next Loudoun Cybersecurity Meetup will be on Tuesday Dec. 13, at Old Ox Brewery in Ashburn. We’ll hear from Mr. James Gorman, principle and CISO at Hard2Hack.com
Thank you to our December sponsor, Rhythmic Technologies, who is making it possible for us to meet at Old Ox.
