Description

Robots are very helpful in understanding information and helping humans do things, especially things we cannot do ourselves. From robots that vacuum your floor to those that can cook you dinner or perform surgery, robotics plays an important part in our lives! But, who builds robots, and how do robots know what to do? Families with children who are not yet members of Girl Scouts are invited to join us as we learn about different types of robots, the people who build them, and create our very own robot prototypes! We can't wait to see you there! Parents & Caregivers--you're invited, too! While our younger attendees are busy building their prototype GSEMA staff will answer your questions and provide additional information about our program, and how to get involved. While this activity is intended for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade, any non-member youth(s) and their caregiver interested in learning more about Girl Scouts are welcome to attend.
