The Malden Teen Enrichment Center (MTEC) was founded with one goal in mind: To provide a welcoming, structured, and safe environment for Malden teens to spend time with their friends, receive homework assistance, play games, take part in enriching activities, develop leadership skills, and promote community service. Over the last 10 years, MTEC has accomplished all of this and more. From cooking classes to camping trips to Habitat for Humanity service days to visits to Washington DC, MTEC has offered students unforgettable, community building experiences. Come celebrate MTEC's many achievements in the last 10 years, and help us gear up for what's to come in the next 10 years and beyond! Our celebration will take place on Monday, December 12 from 6:30 to 8:30PM at Anthony's of Malden. Light refreshments will be served. Tickets cost $50, the proceeds of which will go directly to Friends of MTEC. There will also be opportunities throughout the night to sponsor specific exciting opportunities for MTEC's teens.
