Summary: This is a non professional, recreational and competitive players, non USAPA sanctioned tournament. ALL net proceeds of the event go to DUPAGE PADS, a homeless shelter and community service based in Wheaton, IL. Location is Community Christian Sportsplex , Plainfield. This is just a Save the Date announcement, participants, volunteers and sponsorship purchases are not enabled at this time. Date of 4/15/2023 is confirmed. 2 Levels, Beginners to Intermediate, Above Intermediate. 40 players maximum, 20 players per level. In need for 12 minimum number of volunteers. Event website for players and volunteers, along with Sponsorship tiers + Menu coming soon. Cost per player is to be determined, not to exceed $45 per player.April 15, 2023 Non Professional Tournament High Level Rules: 1. Game Rules a. All rules as spelled out on USA Pickleball site apply, see here. b. 2022 Rules Revision Apply, refer to this document, c. Regular Scoring always, play to 11, win by 2 d. No referees are provided, team calls the ball on the side it lands 2. Competitors a. Beginners Level on 4 nets, 20 players b. Intermediate Level and above, 4 nets, 20 players 3. Court Assignments, Rotation, Team Assignments a. Mixed doubles b. 10 rounds, round robin rotation, randomization of court and partner assignment via Plan to Play; partner and court assignments will be posted 24 hours prior to game time, round 1 c. Players with highest cumulative personal scores, 1st , 2nd and 3rd place; tie breaker will be Win record.
