For Scouts in Troop 766 only! Are you interested in earning the Music Merit Badge (MB)? If so, please read through this entire description before signing up. While there are only 5 requirements needed to complete this MB, 4 of them will need to be done independently. Janelle Morio is the MB Counselor! Details: Date: Thursday, December 15 at 7:00 pm.Location: Hiawatha Public Library - Glen Schminke RoomNo cost!Class is limited to 6 Scouts! There is a waitlist.Whenever you are complete with requirements 1, 2, 3, and 5, please reach out to meet and set up a meeting time to discuss.Please refer to the Music MB Worksheet for additional details: http://usscouts.org/usscouts/mb/mb077.aspRequirements: #1: You will select a song from their current lesson book. Make sure that the piece is appropriate for your current skill level (not too easy and not too hard). Make sure this song is rehearsed before meeting with me. Because you are expected to know and understand music terms, I would like you to have at least 9 months of playing experience before completing this requirement.#2: Completed independently, although suggested resources will be provided. Will need to discuss this with me upon completion. #3: You must select TWO of the options and then discuss them with me.#4: The meeting will be on Thursday, December 15 at 7:00 pm (location Hiawatha Public Library). This meeting will start the requirement. To complete the requirement, you will also need to attend the Troop Meeting on Monday, December 19 at 7:00 pm.#5: Completed independently and then discussed with me.
