Run/Walk with the Blue Zones Project (BZP) Monterey County and the Wednesday Night Laundry Runners (WNLR). Post-run fuel with plant-based bites from Tacos California Grill. On the 6th day of Christmas, the BZP hosted the WNLR's 12 days of Christmas Runnin’! Bring your friends and family to celebrate the upcoming holidays by taking the time to go outdoors and enjoy some fresh air while meeting new people. At the end of the run there will be delicious plant-based bites from a Blue Zones Project Approved restaurant and we will be raffling off a BZP gift basket. ***Sunday Parking in Downtown Monterey is FREE*** Run will start at the Blue Zones Project office and will go towards El Estero Lake. Course options: 2 loops around El Estero Lake 5K (3.1 miles) and 5 loops around El Estero Lake 10K (6 miles) Run will start at the Blue Zones Project office and will go towards El Estero Lake. For every loop that you complete you will have the opportunity to enter the BZP raffle that many times! Around the lake there are three clusters of exercise stations, be on the lookout because at one of them there will be a red Christmas stocking. Once you find the stocking that is where you will be able to drop in your raffle ticket. The WNLR is a local running club in the Monterey and Salinas area.
