A Care and Conservation workshop for safely caring, cleaning, and storing treasured items such as textiles (costumes, quilts, hats, etc.), basketry and toys, photographs, and paper items
(bibles), jewelry and more. In addition, she will discuss how-to-adapt your vacuum cleaner for textiles and how to cope with torn and burned items. There will be resource catalogs available for archival storage containers and handouts. Attendees are encouraged to bring an item, either damaged or undamaged, to the workshop.
