Description

The Rocket Run Bring the Heat 5K will take place on the UCA campus on March 11, 2023. The registration fee is $30, which will sponsor the construction of one stove in Kanembwe, Rwanda. These stoves reduce firewood consumption and smoke exposure, thereby benefitting the environment and improving public health. The stoves will be constructed by UCA study abroad students and village residents as part of the Science, Society, and Service-Learning in Rwanda study abroad program in May 2023. 8:00 am: Event check-in and T-shirt distribution 9:00 am: 5K starting whistle
