Alejandra Pozzo Stevenson is the creator and founder of Happy Human Society, a company dedicated to publishing books that support the emotional development of children. Her mission is to empower children to become mentally healthy, happy humans. As a pediatric nurse practitioner, she constantly sees how unresolved stress negatively impacts the health of children and is committed to empower parents to become emotionally supportive of their child. As a writer, she is passionate about helping children process their emotions through stories. Originally from Peru, Alejandra currently lives in Delray Beach, Florida with her husband and two dogs. She holds a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and currently works as a nurse practitioner in pediatric neurology. About the book: How do we empower each other, young girls, and future generations? We celebrate each other. We learn to love our bodies. We learn to love ourselves and realize that we are worthy of becoming whoever we want to be. This book was written to uplift girls around the world. The characters go on a journey of body positivity as they celebrate each other's differences, learn about self-love, and realize the importance of body autonomy.
