Save the Date and join us to our Latin Dance/Auction fundraiser, your donation will help change the lives of victims of abuse and trafficking. By Puertas Abiertas in collaboration with Viewpond Banquet Hall.  We will have A Bachata class by dance instructor Alex Lazo, freestyle dance with DJ, Cash bar, and a live silent auction. Theme of the Night: Purple& Black *ADMISSION DONATION: $30.00 per person *RSVP and Admission donation can be paid in advanced and Viewpond Banquet Hall website: https://www.viewpondbanquet.com/events-and-rsvp Or upon entry as long as space is not sold out (max capacity 200) The purpose of this fundraising is to help keep our mission going, below are just a few examples of how contribution benefits our current and upcoming clients: - On going professional therapy with Puertas Abiertas counselors (we currently have a high demand and a wait-list, fundraising will help us offer this service to more clients sooner) - Transportation - Protection order cost - Facilitated support groups - Winter Clothing & Food - Legal advocacy & Case Management Puertas Abiertas has helped more than 350 children, women and men who had faced a risk situation due to Domestic/Relationship Violence, Gender Violence and Trafficking, and currently receive approximately 25 referrals per month.   Puertas Abiertas Was recently awarded as NonProfit of the year for 2022 by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  Special Thanks to Viewpond Banquet Hall for the space and support.
