Would like to adopt adult small breed dog

I would like to adopt a small breed dog. Prefer female. We have a nice fenced back yard. It would be kept indoors so that is house trained. Also prefer it gets along with a cat which that stays indoors. We lost our very best friend earlier this year. I find my house much to quiet now. I am retired so we are around most of the day. If you have a dog that might fill our need. It will be given a wonderful home. I would appreciate hearing from you and a little about your dog and if you require a rehoming fee.
