Hello! I'm a clawhammer-style banjo player looking to play shows with a band in the Asheville area. I'm currently in a band that plays primarily outside our area but I'm hoping to connect with some opportunities closer to home. I can play traditional old-time tunes but also love to get progressive (for clawhammer) with covers of the Allman Bros., Michael Jackson, as well as gypsy jazz and also originals. I'm seasoned (which is euphemistic for older than most) but a lot of fun. And I'm professional. I can also play guitar and enough mandolin to fool most people. And I sing.
