Lighting Console & Camera Operators Needed - Birmingham We are a theatrical dance-event company seeking lighting console & camera operators for an event beginning Friday, December 2nd and Saturday the 3rd in Birmingham. Lighting Console Operators require basic knowledge of lighting consoles. The event is a a simple “white light up/down” variety act show with basic moving light/LED effects pre-programmed into the console. We will spend the first 30 minutes of the event training you into the position. Very easy to pick up, just need to pay attention. Video Camera Operators will be operating a Sony PMW-200 (or similar) camera mounted on a tripod with Lens controller. You will be taking direction via intercom from a Video Director backstage. Our system is remotely controlled from backstage. Requires a bit of dexterity and attention. Call times/days for both positions are as follows: Friday, Dec 2nd, 2022: 6:30am-6:30pm possibly later if willing Saturday, Dec 3rd, 2022: 6:30am-1:30pm You will be paid $25/hr cash for this event, which will be paid at the end of your final shift. You will be required to fill out a W9 form, but in accordance with federal tax laws will not be required to pay taxes on the earnings if making less than $600 with our company in the calendar year. Both positions will include two paid lunch breaks on Friday.
