Responsibilities & Duties: Licensed residential electricians to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, control equipment, and related electrical components for solar energy and storage related projects. Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and management systems Read technical diagrams and blueprints Perform general electrical maintenance Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations Circuit breaker corrective maintenance Keep work vehicle stocked with consumables Additional tasks and duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills: Completion of electrician apprenticeship Licensed Experience working as an electrician Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair Experience in renewable energy field a plus Ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral communications with crew members, project managers, and more. The ability to listen is a critical aspect of communication Requirements: Can carry, lift, pull, and push up to 75 lbs. Able to bend, climb, kneel, reach, and squat Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time Must be able to climb ladders and stairs regularly, and be comfortable with heights of at least 20 feet and walking on all roof types Able to work in various weather conditions and in extreme temperatures Adherence to all safety protocols Know how to use hand tools and specific related tools Must be well mannered and comfortable speaking with clients Able to lift 75 lbs. regularly Must have a verifiable work history Must have valid driver’s license and clean DMV driving record Job Types: Part-time, Contract Salary: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Schedule: Self-determined schedule Weekend availability License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Electrical License (Required) Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
