Looking to change the world and help end climate change? Us too! Join our growing team, trying to help eliminate waste by reducing our reliance on single use packaging. In collaboration with Loop, Giant Food is launching a new way to shop in-store for everyday products in reusable packaging. By paying a small deposit, you no longer have to worry what happens to your packaging once you’re done using it. Instead, feel confident knowing that Loop is collecting and cleaning the empty packaging for reuse, so that it never hits the landfill. We need the help of you and other passionate, mission-oriented people to join our Loop Ambassador program. Loop Ambassadors will play an essential role as we launch our reusable products in select Giant stores in the DC/Virginia region. Representing this initiative, your mission will be to: -Educate consumers in Giant Food stores on the importance of reuse -Introduce Loop to Giant Food guests and answer frequently asked questions -Encourage consumers to trial zero-waste packaging by adding Loop products to their cart during their shopping trip -Contribute to the development of a consumer study by identifying the opportunities of the reusable shopping experience -Report and communicate learnings of the in-store experience to our Marketing and Business Insights teams -Share recommendations with Loop and Giant Food teams on how to best improve and serve our reusable platform to others in your region -Over the course of 3 months, Loop Ambassadors will work independently in stores under the supervision of a Loop Program Manager. Ambassadors will be trained on our service and encouraged to maximize positive interactions with guests to translate to loyal Loop brand fans and sales.
