Meetinghouse Arts, committed to enhancing and cultivating Greater Freeport as a vibrant center for arts and culture, invites you to Meetinghouse Arts to hear stories about winter holidays during Sparkle Weekend. Families are welcome to join the holiday craft art activity right after the Story Hour! Here's what we'll read: Seven Spools of Thread written by Angela Shelf Medearis and illustrated by Daniel Minter Read by Atiim Bomani Boykin Chenzira. Atiim Chenzira (Chen zee ra) is a Portland resident, musician, clinician, story teller, and advisory board member at Indigo Arts Alliance. Hanukkah Hamster! written by Michelle Markel and illustrated by André Ceolin Read by Jonas Werner. When Jonas is not working for Freeport’s Balsam Realty, he writes poetry, watches the local animals and loves to perform in theater. All the Colors of Christmas written by Matthew Paul Turner and illustrated by Gillian Gamble Read by Patti Francis. Patti Francis is a librarian at Mast Landing School since 2009.
