Open Bar, Italian Holiday Menu, European Ballroom Dancing, Italian Holiday Opera, Late Night DJ Dancing, Chocolates from throughout Europe, Carolers and Hundreds of Holiday Revelers – including SANTA CLAUS! – Christmas and Chanukah in Rome – The Majesty of the Coliseum – The Beauty of the Trevi Fountain This event is perfect for both couples and singles alike and we expect a sellout audience to this grand event. Event is 21+ (bring ID) Your magical evening features: 1) SPECIAL CAROLERS GREETING: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by Holiday carolers singing Christmas, Chanukah and Seasonal Favorites to get you into the spirit (both in English and Italian). 2) BALLROOM DANCING with LESSONS Travel to the center of the Emperor’s Palace as you waltz, Fox Trot, Tango and even Swing in an 18th century ballroom setting. Ballroom dance lessons will be provided as an introductory refresher. 3) HOLIDAY OPERA PRESENTATION As if we were evoking the celebratory spirit of St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican, we will be privy to a special performance of classical opera pieces celebrating the holiday season! 4) EUROPEAN NIGHTCLUB: In the second half of the evening, we visit the hottest nightclubs emulating the hot spots of Via Del Corse as one our area’s top DJs spins the best retro, swing and top 40 dance hits. 5) EUROPEAN BAR Tonight, we will present OPEN BAR of European wines European wines, beers and other nonalcoholic refreshments. Wines and beers several different countries, including the vineyards of Italy, will be on hand for you to sample and enjoy! 6) DOLCI (Desserts). As if picked from the best pastry shops in all of Italy, our dessert selection offers you a wide variety of assortment de holiday Italian treats Experience the exquisite Italian desserts found in some of the finest restaurants, cafes and casinos in all of Italy 7) EUROPEAN HOLIDAY CHOCOLATES TASTING Sample, compare and conquer some of the greatest chocolates from throughout Western and Eastern Europe. 8) CHARITY TOY DRIVE with TOYS FOR TOTS: Help us spread joy to children this year. A marine representative from Toys for Tots will be on hand for collection. DESERT MENUA TBA. 3) EUROPEAN BALLROOM MUSIC: Tonight's Gala will fill the room with Italy’s and Europe's greatest classical ballroom treasures as you dance the night away in this unique, authentic setting. 4) EUROPEAN BALLROOM DANCE PRESENTATION & LESSON: A masterful local Ballroom instructor/couple will perform a special dance show highlighting the ballroom classics as danced for centuries. Following the demonstration, our instructors will offer a brief ballroom lesson to keep you dancing the way Venetians danced for centuries. 5) ITALIAN HOLIDAY OPERA PRESENTATION: Tonight we present you with a unique sampling of timeless classics from the leading Opera houses of Italy. Opera singers will be on hand for a live exclusive performance (from the Baroque, through the romantic period and to today). 6) LATE DJ & DANCING: In the last half of the evening, one of Washington, D.C.'s greatest D.J.s brings us the best in retro, swing and top 40 dancing - Italian style! Note: This is primarily a stand up, buffet style reception with limited seating throughout the evening. We will have limited tables and chairs, but will not be able to accommodate seating for all attendees at one time. However, if you need to be seated for medical reasons or if you need a handicap access, please text us at (202) 368-1878, 24 hours before the Event, so that we can arrange. Refund and Ticket Resell All sales are final. We only refund the full amount, if the event is canceled. If it is rescheduled, we will send an email to ticket holders advising that. A full refund will be given to those that let us know within 2 calendar days of the update email, if you are unable to make it on the new date. No refunds will be given after that time. However, you can sell your ticket to someone else if you are unable to attend. Please, feel free to post in the comment box for the event, that you have a ticket for sale. Work out payment between yourselves, and have the seller only send the organizer a message letting us know the full name of the person taking your spot. You must let us know two hours before the RSVP close time, on the day of the event.
