Trailblazers: Wellness Walk at Eggers Grove

Join us at Eggers Grove for a simple and refreshing wellness walk! Hand warmers and hot tea will be provided. Difficulty level: The walk will be at a moderate, brisk pace on paved trails. Parking/Meeting location: Park in the parking lot and meet in front of the Caretaker's Building (building with the bathrooms), by where the parking lot splits. We will be in front of the building. Meet your volunteer guide: Donisha is a public health and wellness expert from the southside of Chicago, who focuses on amplifying and activating the Forest Preserve sites in the Calumet Region. Her main form of physical activity is walking and yoga, which she loves to do with her English Bulldog, Maggie. What to bring/wear: Water, sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing (layers are highly recommended) and comfortable shoes. This event is free, but please register to secure your spot.
