This Friday December 2nd the Wyatt Gallery will be featuring local artist Elizabeth Gerstner for an early art walk. The artist will be starting demonstrations at 2:00pm creating her magical Christmas Fairy/ Angel ornaments, she made especially for the Wyatt Gallery. Sweet treats and cider will be provided. Come visit Hillside before the Tlaquepaque tree lighting. Elizabeth Gerstner’s art features the sacred Goddesses. The Goddess has been a metaphysical journey as her figurines are symbolic of “geometric motifs" that have been Pagan earth-centered culture through time. Elizabeth’s creative process is intuitive as the Goddess regenerates from clay into a sacred piece of art. These sculptures are hand sculpted stoneware. She has gone through many transformations from manipulated clay to a fired piece of sacred art. Her wings are made from beautiful layers of fantasy film (which is used to make glitter) she melts and manipulates it till they are ready to fly in your home or garden. These little fairy angels are so magical and full of sweetness! Place Her on your Tree as an offering of beauty, or a visual poem. Keep Her up year-round to fill your space with intentional blessings. Your awareness of her presence will guide your actions in healing and healthy ways. Gerstner will also be unveiling a life-sized Goddess Fairy Angel for the First Friday art walk!
