Our annual Minding My Black Owned Business, Inc. (MMBOB) Benefit Gala is an introduction to what MMBOB represents. We want to engage our supporters and the community with an evening of the Arts and other curated entertainment. All proceeds from this event are dispersed to help fund our headquarters, which will target mental health, youth engagement and business preparedness/development in low-income areas. Come dressed in your ballroom attire as you experience the walk down our redcarpet with cameras and lights! Drekkia Writes, award winning poet & author of "17 Mirrors", will be our Mistress of Ceremonies (MC) for the evening. Featuring our distinguished keynote speakers, Rev. Benny Johnson and Shamim Okolloh will be highlighting their visions for uplifting the community and sharing more about their personal journies to excellence.
