WANTED: Female lead vocalists (2), to join a female-fronted cover band, pop/rock/current from 80s-to right now. Westchester County based. About the project/band: Looking for talented, collaborative singers who are excited to join a female-fronted band featuring pop/rock/dance hits from the 80s until now. Current members have day jobs but play at pro level, have previously worked original projects, recorded, toured, etc. Not your parent's cover band! We’re devoted to doing justice to these awesome songs, working well together behind the scenes, and performing passionately onstage! We’re psyched to add new members who are just as dedicated to the collective cause as we anticipate getting some really great gigs. For this project, we are seeking those who can keep up with our collaborative process and are socially and emotionally aware of the dynamic which is just as important as musical ability. We love teamwork! We are a fun and friendly group of people who appreciate a no-drama atmosphere and personalities that match. What we’re looking for: The band will feature 3 lead singers, each owning a third of the set, and supporting the other singers on harmonies and backing vocals. We’ve got rock covered and are looking for 2 more vocalists to round out the project! We are looking for a pop-centered singer (Taylor Swift, Madonna, Aguilera, Billie Eilish, Sheryl Crow, etc.) AND a dance/R&B-centered singer (Dua Lipa, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Whitney, Adele, etc.) More info/next steps: Likely practices bi-weekly, gigs monthly at most, depending on progress building the project.Our objective is high quality gigs with full rooms; quality vs. quantity. Regarding money. As we gain a following, reasonable pay may come. However, if money is your primary driver for playing, this is not the gig for you, as we will prioritize great gigs and playing to packed rooms over paychecks.
