Description
Sky-high price of diesel fuel. Diesel fuel is the backbone of the American economy. Diesel engines in trucks, trains, and boats are how nearly every product you use in your daily life gets to you. So when diesel prices go up, so does everything we buy.
Today, the average gallon of diesel is $5.19, just 50 cents shy of its all-time high peak this past summer. So Tipp Insights asked voters: What should government do to alleviate the diesel shortage?
The number 1 answer was: Encourage more drilling and refining of oil.
Unfortunately, the American people are much smarter than the people who run our country.
