Lost Bird

Please help, my conure got out yesterday and flew high up into the tree tops and wouldn't come down. I tried all day yesterday to coax him down but all he would do was fly around the top of the highest trees and then land on the tree tops again. I lost sight of him right before dark and I couldn't hear him anymore, I believe he may have went into my neighbors yard. He is very tame and usually eager to come to me, not sure what possessed him to fly up so high and not come down ( not his first taste of freedom). I am desperate to get him home, he has been my best bud for almost 11 years, our family really misses him. Please please if anyone spots him in the south Royalton VT area around the 110 and button hill please let me know. His name is Birdie and he knows if you say his name or say pretty bird you are talking to him. I already have his cage outside and have tried all the tricks to lure him back home, all I am asking is for anyone near by to keep a look out for him.
