I have been working with wood for over 20 years. Worked with and on a variety of woods, dark, light, moderate and unfinished wood. Extreme wood that requires a diamond edge blade as carbon would break while attempting to cut. Wood finishing is also something I enjoy, from sanding, smoothing out, and polishing to a nice finish. I also like the wood you can use for food prep too. If you find yourself needing to know more or exploring an alternative hobby, woodworking might be something to consider. You just need to find the beauty and follow the grain. It's been fulfilling for me, and I know it when I see the reaction on others' faces when they experience my work.
