Job Title: Studio Assistant Location: Norristown, PA Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time Hours: 10 am to 6 pm Position Type: Hourly Job Function: Studio Facilities Maintenance and Production Support Compensation: Starting at $17/hr Sign on bonus of $300 received after 90 days. Benefits/Health/Dental Insurance are available after 90 days of employment. Paid vacation available. Maximalist Studios is looking for a bright, energetic, hands-on assistant to support our team. What you’ll do… • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in studio and surrounding areas • Organize props, sets and equipment • Communicate verbally and by text message with production clients and studio owners • Complete hands-on craft, design and home projects • Take care of plants • Support photo and film shoots • Assist with day-to-day operations You must… • Be at least 21 years old • Have a high school diploma or equivalent • Not smoke • Pass a drug screen test • Pass a criminal background test • Be vaccinated for COVID • Have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a 10-foot truck • Be able to stand and move quickly for prolonged periods • Be able to climb a ladder Ideally, you… • Take initiative • Have common sense • Love to organize • Know how to prioritize • Solve problems before they happen • Get excited about home design and renovation • Are a fearless do-it-yourselfer • Take pride in keeping your surroundings clean and organized • Don’t mind getting your hands dirty • Like to be creative • Think fast on your feet • Like taking care of plants • Take work seriously but like to laugh and have fun If this sounds like the opportunity for you, please email the following three things: 1.
