Truck Driver/Material Handler We are looking for viable candidates to fill an open delivery driver position for our commercial ceramic tile installation company. Job duties include but are not limited to: • Operation of 16’ F-550 box truck (no air brakes, automatic transmission) • Operation of simple forklift within small warehouse setting (some receiving of semi deliveries) • Pickup and delivery of tile and incidental materials from distributors to designated jobsites • Occasional onsite general labor with installation crews • Warehouse management of stock materials and job remnants • Some onsite job condition assessments Job requirements: • Must be eligible to work within the United States • Valid driver’s license • Chauffer’s license (no full CDL required) • Must be able to lift 65 lbs regularly (but not continuously) and occasionally 94 lb bags of cement • Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal directions • Good communication skills with onsite superintendent for material offloading and strategic placement • Flexibility to transfer from “driver” position to “coordinator” position to “general labor and installation assistant” • Ability to work in both team and individual settings This job requires material handling as well as driving. Starting pay at $19 per hour with the potential for future placement in field operations. Job is part-time, with potential for additional hours as jobsite demands increase.
