Removing border collie mix

Our landlord is making us rehome our dog. She's a 12 year old border collie mix. In excellent health and up to date on shots, etc. She is house trained but I would recommend a house rather than apartment for her. I will send her with qgatecer food we have left for her. I just want to make sure she goes to a loving home. She's a very sweet girl but will bark at strangers.
