"We're all just a bad day away from the rest of our lives" -Dalton and the Sheriffs, Tell it Plain For the Butts family that "bad day" came on September 9, 2021 when their 6-year-old daughter Emily was diagnosed with leukemia. T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) is a blood cancer that is aggressive in nature and progresses quickly. Faced with the worst fears of their lives, Emily immediately began her treatments at Boston Children's Hospital undergoing chemotherapy along with bone marrow and lumbar puncture procedures as well as blood and platelet transfusions. Now 7, Emily continues to receive regular treatments at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute - Jimmy Fund Clinic to combat the disease. A battle like this cannot be overcome alone. On January 21, 2023, we invite you to join us so we can all enjoy "A Night Out For Emily" at Florian Hall featuring Dalton and the Sheriffs.
