The updated Colorado Food Code requires all retail food establishments to have a Certified Food Protection Manager on hand and exerting active managerial control at all times. ServSafe participants who score 70% or above on the exam obtain this required certification as Food Protection Managers.
A full-day workshop costs $115/person, which includes a ServSafe textbook and study materials, 7 hours of training, a proctored exam, and LUNCH.
