Our foster cat Artemis/Artie is in search of a good home! Artie was brought in from the cold at the beginning of the year, we could not find the owners, and so we decided to keep him as a temporary foster. He’s been so hard to let go of! However, we are moving soon, and it’s now time to find him a forever family. Very sweet, cuddly, and affectionate boy. Does well with other cats, large dogs, and children. A family/home with any or all of these would be a great, familiar environment for Artie. He is still very playful! If you want a very docile cat, know that he is not quite there yet. He does respond to his names and I do not recommend changing them at this point in his life. Artie is about 1 year old. He has been fixed and was given his first round of shots about 6 months ago. He is fully litter trained and does not spray where he shouldn’t. He does like to go outside and will run past your feet and up a tree if you’re not careful! $50 rehoming fee is non-negotiable and indicates financial ability in caring for a pet. This fee is comparable or less than fees at shelters that provide reproductive alterations. We only feel comfortable rehoming to individuals/families who can indicate their ability to care for Artie in this way. At pickup/meetup, you must bring a proper carrier to transport a cat. If you do not bring a carrier, you will not be allowed to leave with Artemis. This is in order to ensure his safety and non-negotiable as well. If drop-off is arranged, we will bring Artemis in a safe cat carrier. Please respond by email only. I will follow up as quickly as possible. Thank you for understanding.
