Morning & Overnight Order Pickers & Loaders Needed (overtime required) – Port Washington, NY We are currently hiring for temp to permanent Order Pickers (morning shift) and Loaders (overnight shift) for the Port Washington area. We have a daytime and overnight shift available - must be willing to work overtime. The average shift is between 10-12 hours a day. Once converted permanent, it is a union job with free medical benefits. The daytime shift is Monday to Friday 7am-3:45pm $15.50/hour (again must be available to work overtime until the job is complete). The overnight shift is Monday to Friday 6pm-4am $16/hour (again must be available to work overtime until the job is done). It is working for a company that distributes industrial supplies including: paint, lumber, and hardware. Full job details below. Candidates must have prior warehouse experience. Order pickers will use RF scanners and cherry pickers/order pickers. Loaders will use electric pallet jacks. These positions are for immediate hire. Shifts Available: Order Picker – 1st shift/morning shift – Monday to Friday 7:00AM – 3:45PM (shift ends when job is complete – must be available for overtime) – $15.50/hour (plus overtime) Loader – 3rd/overnight shift – Monday to Friday 6:00PM – 4:00AM (shift ends when job is complete – must be available for overtime) – $16.00/hour (plus overtime) Responsibilities including reading pick sheets, locating items in the warehouse, scanning items, and picking customer orders. Must be capable of using RF scan gun, working overtime, lifting up to 50lbs, maintain good attendance, follow direction, and be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a temp to perm position. Once converted perm, it is a union job. Company offers great benefits once perm.
