Looking for original local bands

Description

If you play in a Columbus based band making your own original music then I don’t have to tell you how hard it can be finding gigs. I also play in a local original band. I’ve been having some luck creating my own events and need other bands to fill sets. My band can play about 2 hours max and most events I’m able to plan require 3-4 hours. So we need help. Before I get into specifics something you need to know is I WILL NOT BE MAKING MONEY OFF OF YOU! There’s no hierarchy. Doesn’t matter who plays first or last or for how long. All money is an even split. We are a newer band and looking for other newer bands to team up with. Established bands with large fan bases don’t need this opportunity. This is for bands looking for a chance to be heard, a platform to perform upon and an opportunity to build/increase a fan base. So unfortunately there isn’t a lot of money in this yet. But what we can make will be equally shared. We’re not looking to hire bands but to partner with them. And from all types of genres and age groups. If your band: 1. Has a set of mostly original music. 2. Has a somewhat decent recording of one or two songs or live videos that can be used for promotion. 3. Has some form of social medial such as Facebook, Instagram, Tic Toc, YouTube, SoundCloud, Band Camp etc. 4. Can bring between 10-20 people to a gig. 5. Has the bare minimum of professionalism. Meaning you show up when you agree to. If I reach out to inform you about a gig you can respond in a day or whether or not you want to hear more about it. If you’re offered a gig you can check your schedules and tell me if you want the gig or not within a day or two. 6. Can approach multiple band showcases with a spirit of community and support rather than competition. And can treat everyone in the audience or employees of the venue with respect. Then I want to hear from you! Let me know how YOU describe the music you make. Give me links to your music and social media. I’ll also need your contact info and a rough estimate of how long of a set of (at least mostly) original music you can comfortably play.
