PowerVac Services is hiring a full-time sweeper truck driver for morning sweeping; this same position will also be doing handyman work following the morning hours. Morning sweeping will include cleaning commercial properties Sun-Wed plus Sat. Weekends are sweeping only! Weekdays require morning sweeping of local shopping centers. Sweeping requires blowing sidewalks, islands, docks, beds, etc., and sweeping up debris, litter, leaves, and trash. Sweeping duties conclude with changing trash bags. Immediately following sweeping hours, we will begin handyman work. This includes but is not limited to cleaning, drywall, concrete, painting, lightbulbs, ceiling tiles, evictions, junk removal, etc.
Pay starts at $15 per hour, with 40+ hours per week, with overtime being time and a half. PowerVac does have a benefits package that includes healthcare, paid vacation, and holiday pay.
Must have a clean and valid Driver's License with a strong work ethic. There is plenty of work and plenty of hours for the right person that wants to work. We are looking for someone with a good attitude that can learn from experience and follow instructions.
