Looking for a professional bass player to compliment our band. We are jam band oriented and play a mix of covers and originals. Though we all have a lot of local gigging experience, this is a start from scratch. Because we appreciate your time and expect a lot musically, this will be a paid position until gigging kicks in. Our expectations: 1. That you regularly practice your instrument and prepare for our practices. 2. 4-6 practices a month at a location in Rosemont. 3. 2-4 gigs per month. As gigs come online, band pay will shift to gig pay. 4. Participation in a recording/video session for demo material. All costs will be covered. 5. Your own reliable transportation. 6. Professional grade gear 7. No drama Our time frame is aggressive and will require focus. Jan -> rehearsals Feb -> rehearsals/recording/booking Mar -> rehearsals/booking Apr -> rehearsals/gig ...
