TWO POSITIONS: Apprentice Groomer AND Bather – On the Job Training

Prim and Popper Parlor is seeking people passionate about pet care! We are interested in hiring someone who would like to learn how to groom and someone who would like to learn how to bathe dogs. No experience is necessary, but prior knowledge of the pet care industry and/or customer service is a plus. Either job’s predominate focus will be on grooming or bathing, but other tasks may be required such as: • Letting boarding dogs out to potty and feeding them. • Disinfecting dog cages or runs. • Cleaning the outdoor runs (disposing of fecal matter). • Taking in pets from and returning them to their owners. This is a unique opportunity and rewarding career path, but it can be physically taxing. Basic requirements are: • Must be able to be on your feet for 8 hours a day (anti-fatigue mats are provided). • Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds. • Have a positive, can-do attitude. • Have a basic understanding of animal behavior (ie.
