Guitarist/songwriter seeking bandmates for new "original" progressive rock band. Personal influences included Yes, Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Genesis, Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Dream Theater, and so many more... Minimum requirements are good proficiency with your instrument and, at least, basic knowledge of music theory and concepts (i.e., timing signatures, key signatures, etc...) also, a deep knowledge/appreciation of this kind of music is a requirement. Have your own gear, and be willing to transport your chosen instrument to an agreed-upon space for rehearsal and/or writing/jam sessions. Be able to write/demo/share your ideas outside of meetings. Any age is acceptable. The writer of this advertisement is 35. Priority would be to find a keyboardist, bassist, or drummer first before considering a 2nd guitarist. This is "for fun" - a productive hobby that can be shared by people of common interests.
