Description

I also agree with much of the frustration expressed in regard to the experiences incurred with ads here on the CL platform. Fortunately or unfortunately, this still appears to be the "goto" with regard to where players (& posers) post their intentions. Wading through the deluge can be daunting to find a decent player. What I'm finding (and I'm going through a band change right now) is that if you can make it out to a local jam or two, you'll likely find your efforts to be much more productive. Also stretch yourself outside your particular genre and check out the musicianship you might find at say a bluegrass jam too. It's awfully hard to hide behind a computer keyboard when your face-to-face with other fretboards in a public setting. If you can play, you'll find work and overall be much less frustrated. All the best to your musical pursuits and (insert selfless plug here) if you'd like to form an Acoustic Duo with a bassist/vocalist in the Glen Carbon area, I'd love to hear back from you.
