The concrete civil workers are responsible for general construction activities, with an emphasis on using hand tools, operating heavy machinery, having the ability to understand and perform the layout of framing, have strong knowledge of concrete carpentry, concrete building foundations and slabs, installation of conduit and trenching, installation of chain link fence and installation of aggregate roads and compounds. Essential Job Duties: Complete all necessary safety training provided by Navaco Complete all necessary technical training provided by Navaco Maintain care of Navaco equipment Demonstration of organizational skills in all tasks Operate hand and power tools with ease Operate trucks, trailers, and other equipment with ease Lay out cell tower sites, electrical, and telecommunications infrastructure Install and wire telecommunications equipment, install breakers, making terminations Trenching, laying fiber and conduit Pour concrete pads, piers, pylons, block wall foundations, excavations, layout, forming, rebar placing, and finishing Set and install pre-fabricated equipment buildings Install light industrial steel, i.e. h-frames, light posts Qualifications/ Job Requirements: Current driver license Willing to travel up to 15 days at the time Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Ability to operate machineries such as backhoes, mini excavators, and skid steers Ability to read blueprints Practice safe working procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations Ability to learn from various instruction methods, as well as self-study Ability to read and understand general job-related documents Previous construction and/or construction industry experience preferred Previous telecommunications industry experience desired but not required Apprentice's pay starts at $16 and goes up quickly as long as you're doing a good job, Please send your resume to be considered for a job interview.
