This session will focus on Russia’s first Chechen war, with an emphasis on the First Battle of Grozny, 1994-1995. Campers will learn about both Russian and Chechen tactics in an urban environment and their implications for current events. On the first morning, we learn the rules of the game so we can spend the afternoon and second day playing. Participants will practice leadership, problem solving, teamwork and critical thinking skills in a fun, safe and challenging environment. Campers must be able to work with other children and follow directions. Open to ages 10-16; bring a packed lunch each day. Drop off begins at 8:45AM each day; pick up is at 4PM.
