Dogwar is an indie-punk trio from Lafayette, Louisiana. Forming in 2018, they immediately released an EP entitled Banana Cry. They quickly returned to the studio to begin recording their full-length debut album entitled When We Were Here, which is finally set to release this January. Comprised of Lance Diesi (guitars/vox), Brian Butcher (bass/vox), and Nick Bellard (percussion), who have wildly different tastes in music, Dogwar is influenced by the likes of Blink-182, Foo Fighters, The Cure, and Joy Division, to name a few. Dark Effects is a five-piece melodic metal / rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana. Pulling influences from melodeath, metalcore, and rock giants such as Soilwork, In Flames, Killswitch Engage, Devin Townsend, Mastodon, Thrice, and August Burns Red, Dark Effects has generated a uniquely refined sound since first entering the scene in 2014. After the releases of their first LP What Dreams May Die and their 2019 EP Beginning's End, the band decided to collaborate with prog/metalcore production guru Jonathan Dolese of Konkrete Studios to deliver their sophomore LP and latest 2022 release, Dirty, Broken, Beautiful - a 55-minute album chock full of dynamic no-filler headbangers. Between their latest material, live shows across the region, and the band's weekly YouTube Livestream "Sunday Service," Dark Effects puts on a hell of a show and is only just heating up! Joshua LeBlanc is a guitarist and singer based out of Lafayette, Louisiana. He has been performing professionally for over 15 years, playing hundreds of shows in several bands as well as a solo performer. In 2017 he was hired by The Complication (based out of Milwaukee, WI) as a lead guitarist and back-up vocalist. With this band he did several tours opening for bands such as Smile Empty Soul, Tantric, and Bobaflex. Joshua is currently working on his debut solo album which is planned to be released in 2022.
