Another kitten scam from yesterday, the “seller” claimed they were in Hyannis and would be willing to travel to meet, selling the kittens for $40. The tells: the area code number was from was 347 (NYC) which could be possible, of course, but as the conversation progressed over text, they got to a point where they were going to send a six digit code to verify that I was a real person, this is common scam so they can use that code to access your Google account. NEVER share any kind personal information, even if it seems innocent. Hope this helps somebody avoid unscrupulous people/ads on Craigslist.
