Meet Academy Award Winner Troy Kotsur at the Mesa International Film Festival beginning Thursday Dec 1, 2022 at 7:00 pm. VIP Tickets are valued at $200/person and offer free access to all films shown throughout the festival. We are asking for only a $100 donation to our 501c3 charity--College Bound AZ--Donations are Arizona Tax deductable. We have been able to contract with this year's Academy Award Winner Troy Kotsur and star of the movie CODA this year's Best Picture Academy Award Winner, to speak at the Mesa International Film festival on Thursday, December 1st at 7:00 pm. The festival is all weekend long and being held at the new ASU Sidney Poitier New American Film School 40 E Pepper Place in downtown Mesa, AZ. Troy will be joined by Matthew Jones--brother of James Earl Jones, and another film producer. He will speak for about one hour starting at 7:00 pm December 1, 2022 with Questions and Answers to follow. Of course he will have a sign interpreter but it will be highly interactive and enjoyable for all involved. College Bound is the Mesa International Film festival's supported charity. We are asking for a donation of $100 dollars to be donated to College Bound. This will be a great opportunity to attend the film festival and to see and interact with Troy in person. The passes are valued at $200.00 each, and we are asking for a donation to me made to College Bound for the first 15 Event Bright customers who signup at 1/2 price/ $100.00 each. All proceeds go to support College Bound Youth Programs in the East Valley. College Bound AZ is a 501c3 charity created in 2010 that serves underrepresented youth. In 2022, College Bound helped over 400 youth achieve their dream of a brighter future through a college education. Since 2010, our College Access programs have helped more than 2000 community youth achieve their dream of a brighter future through post-secondary education.
