This event is ONLY for those 60+ qualified anglers that participated in at least two of our fishing tournaments over the course of 2022 , as they are the only ones that can win the Hobie! We have limited space here at our store, so do your fellow anglers a favor and don't sign up for this unless you qualify and can make it. Every time an angler attended a tournament event in 2022, we created a raffle ticket, so there could be up to 5 tickets with your name on it in the raffle bowl. We'll have pizza and some beer available starting at 6pm, and plan to have the AOY presentation at 6:45 and then start the drawing from that bowl for a 2022 Hobie Outback, in the high-visibility Papaya color, at 7pm. Those eligible don't have to be present to win, but will have to be on our FB page at www.facebook.com/lowergearkayakfishing and near a phone if not at the store, under this process: We'll be on FB live on the above page from the store (if it works) draw a name at the store and announce it. If the named person is in attendance, they will for sure be yelling about it and that's it. If the first drawn person is not present, we'll also post the name on the Facebook page even if we able to share it live and that person has 10 minutes from post time to call in to the store number 480-348-8917 to claim it (we'll be asking identifying questions of the caller). If no timely response, we'll draw another name, and so on until a winner is confirmed. Typically there is a response within the first 2 or 3 draws. Our store is on the SW corner of University and the 101 in Tempe. There is parking front and back of the store.  Because of limited space, we've capped the registration here to the first 30; if you sign up and can't come in, please cancel out so someone else can if they want. Cutoff to register here via EventBrite is Wednesday December 7 at 12 noon. There is a wait list here if more than 30 sign up right away.
