Shipping and Receiving FULL-TIME $17/hr 1441 Jarvis Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 • Reads shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed. • Ensures the accuracy of all shipping documents, gather and maintain all data relative to shipping activities. • Collects all documentation for outboard freight and route to the proper record keeping unit. • Picks orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped. • Schedules inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. • Contacts carrier representative to make arrangements and issue instructions for loading products. • Operate equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, pallet jacks and more safely and efficiently. • Maintains a clean, neat, and organized work environment. • Keeps an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance of equipment. Compensation: This is a non-exempt, hourly role. Hourly rates start at $18+, plus Over Time (paid at 1.5x), plus Bonuses. Annual pay for new hires generally ranges between $43,200 and $59,000 or more, depending on experience, overtime hours worked and bonuses.
